The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Jakarta
is seeking an employee with expected effect of 01 September 2025 (full-time position, one-year contract with the option of extension)

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Administration and archiving of visa files and monitoring of retention periods
• Office assistance in Visa and Administrative Sections (e. g. mail distribution, run errands, equipment support, other messenger assignments)

Requirements for the position are:

• Completed vocational training or relevant long-standing work experience
• Very good command of Bahasa Indonesia
• Basic command of German or English
• For non-Indonesian nationals: valid work and stay permit for Indonesia
• High motivation and sense of responsibility
• Friendly and customer-oriented behaviour
• Social and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team
• Willingness to take over additional tasks, if necessary
  

To be eligible for consideration your application must include:

• Letter of Motivation in German or English
• CV (with photograph) in German or English
• School leaving certificate, vocational diploma, language certificates
• References and/or testimonials
• Copy of valid ID (KTP) or copy of work and stay permit for Indonesia
• Indonesian police certificate of good conduct
